3.7: Rules for Blackjack (p77)
I forgot the rule about the naturals, where if the two cards that the player have is a 10 card (picture or 10) and an ace, resulting in 21, the dealer must pay the player immerdiately if they don't have the naturals as well. This didn't affect the game much, since the player who get 21 would still get paid anyway if they more than the dealer. However, it does add an advantage to the dealer of not having to pay immerdiately and allowing them to draw more cards which could get them to a draw at 21 and not having to pay anything.
3.8: Utility and Scarcity (p78)
- Scrabble - The resources are the alphabet tiles. They are the core in which allow the players to earn points. They are limited to each player by having only 7 tiles maximum on hand. In addition, there are certain amount of each alphabet tile, making some more valuable to the players, more than just the score number written on the tile.
- Call of Duty - Some of the resources are bullets, weapons, and money, which makes sense in the game's context, but also skill points in which the players can earn. The bullets and weapons allow the player to play and progress through the game, while money and skill points allow for upgrades that would improve the player's abilities in the game. The resources are valuable as they are something the player have to play and earn them, while in the process of earning those resources they might also lose some.
